It is my hope that you will find this site a dependable source of information on Tanzania as a country of unfolding and unlimited opportunities for business, investment, tourism and various other subjects.
The excellent relations that so happily exist between the UAE and Tanzania are gratifying. Our relations are historical, they were forged over centuries of contact through trade and culture as the sea faring people of the Gulf braved the monsoon winds to reach and trade with the people of Zenjibar in the East African coast. Our challenge now is to further strengthen our relations through business partnership for our mutual benefit

To facilitate the above, Tanzania has been reforming its economy and restructuring its institutions for over a decade now. As a result of these reforms, a solid macro-economic foundation has been laid down upon which a stable environment for the growth and expansion of the economy is taking place.
Our current inflation rate has substantially gone below 5 per cent and our annual economic growth rate has reached over 4.5 per cent. We are striving to achieve a higher growth rate with the active participation of private businesses/investors.
We are therefore reaching to you with the intention to encourage you to consider Tanzania as your future business partner and your safe investment destination.

A new investment climate has been established. A new law providing for the protection of investment and other interests is already in force, with all the incentives, assurances and advantages an investor needs.
At the international level, Tanzania has made its commitments relating to the protection of foreign investors through its membership in the Multilateral Investments Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and the International Treaty on Settlement of Disputes.
Tanzania is a tourist paradise, only five hours away and a well-connected destination by air with Dar es salaam, (the haven of peace) and Zanzibar, (The Spice Islands) Emirates Airlines offers such connections from Dubai. Other International carriers from Dubai include Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways Qatar Airways and very soon the Tanzania national flag carrier Air Tanzania. Important to note is the fact that there are flights to Tanzania from the UAE every day of the week!
There are tremendous opportunities for investment in Mining, Agribusiness, Manufacturing, and Financial Services as well as in Real Estate business in Tanzania. We encourage investors to come and invest in our tourist sector and invite as many people as possible, wishing not only to see, but also to climb the snow peaked mount Kilimanjaro – Africa's highest mountain which wholly lies within the Tanzania Territory.
The great, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater (which is considered one of the wonders of the world), the Spice Islands of Zanzibar and Pemba, the rich flora and fauna found in the world heritage areas in Tanzania are there for everybody to visit and view, or for nature lovers to study and satisfy their scientific thirst.
The long stretches of pristine sandy beaches on the East Coast of the country bordering on the Indian Ocean are also important tourist attraction.
